BOB,great pic's.Must have a #1 camera.The bldg you ask if it was base supply was in fact used by supply .If you will remember as you were looking at it there was a big red bldg to the right.That used to be base supply,where I worked and behind it was TMO.The red bldg is some kind of special events bldg now.Also most of the beach bldgs were remodeled after 1970,after I left.

Thanks Mac. I didn't know about the new big red building. I saw it, but I just thought that it was built after the base closed. I need to go back out there and photograph it, as well as the TMO building. Thanks again.

Bob,

Building 412 was the PMEL outside the compound gate where I worked from June 1975 to Sept. 1976. We calibrated and repaired all the test equipment used to keep the radios operating.

BOBBY,The photo showing Bldg 556 I think is the Commissary bldg.See all the parking slots..The road to the old base housing should be across the street..Mac
