A NEW MILESTONE: 25,000 Visitors!!!

Dear Friends,

Well, this morning I received notification that my blog had surpassed 25,000 visitors!  I must confess  that I am truly overwhelmed that over 25,000 people have found my blog interesting enough to  visit it, read it,  and leave comments.  Thanks to all of you for having made my blog the success that it has become!

Your Friend and Fellow "Silent Warrior",

Hello Bobby! It doesn't surprise me that people enjoy reading your blog. You have a talent for writing interesting stories!
Are you back on Crete now? We are hoping to get there next summer. If we can, We'd like to have a Mythos with you at Poppi's place! John & Jane Cocuzzi

Hello Bob,

I grew up on Crete because my dad was, like you, in the Air Force. The few photos on your blog of the day you visited the base triggered so many small memories. I was very young when we were there (1986-1988) but cling to my remembrances of that most wonderful island. Have you only visited the base once? Were our houses still there?

What years were you there with the air force? I wonder if you know my dad.

Anyway, thank you so much for the trip down memory lane. I was on google earth earlier this evening and was disappointed that the street view doesn't work. I guess I'll just have to make the trip myself someday.

Congratulations on your 25.000 visitors!

Thanks. Jill

Congratulations! I would wish that my company sends me to Crete for some months to work there ...
